Director of Data Engineering and Researcher. I lead engineers and data scientists, set the technical direction and operating model for production data and ML/LLM platforms, and stay hands-on in architecture and code. Over eight years in production data engineering, six of them leading teams of software engineers and data scientists, I have worked at the intersection of large-scale data engineering and research. I am pursuing a PhD at AUEB on Agentic AI that couples LLMs with Reinforcement Learning to make autonomous, data-centric infrastructure decisions. I mediate between Engineering, Research and Business, and I lead teams that manage complex data in international environments.
